Questions & Answers

Question: How can I find the song lyrics for "Always Dreaming" by Jon Nicholson played on Margaritaville radio?

Answer: I've been unable to find these lyrics through the normal channels, however he is on Facebook and Twitter. Since you're a fan, why not connect with him on social media and ask him the question?

Question: Who sings a vocal about dreaming that has words of "when I'm twenty the," "when I'm 30," and "when I'chiliad 60"?

Answer: Those are some really specific lyrics, just I found nothing in a lyrics search that fit those verbal specifications.

Lukas Graham released a very popular 2015 vocal called "7 Years" that tells the retrospective story of growing up and growing older. Several ages were profiled, including ages 20, 30, and 60. Since this is probably not the song yous're referring to (as it'south non near dreaming), leave a message in the Comment Section regarding the following to provide further clues:

1) genre (country/stone/pop, etc.)

2) about when was this vocal popular?

3) did an individual/group or male/female sing it?

four) anything y'all call back about the plot or other aspects of this dreaming song?

5) I assume this is an American song?

Go out the details in the Comments Department of the Dreams Playlist, and I'll be happy to try to locate it.

Question: At that place'due south a vocal, "I accept had a lot of big dreams." Who sings information technology?

Answer: What I institute based on that limited data -- and non knowing whether it was a lyric or title or what the genre is -- turns out to exist a soft stone song from 1985 called "Only Every bit I Am" by Air Supply. The commencement line is a near-perfect match:

I've had a lot of big dreams

I've made a lot of bad moves

I know you could walk away

But you never do ...

If this isn't it and a reader knows the song you're referring to, I promise they'll get out a note in the Comments Section of the playlist article.

Question: What song by a black male has the lyric, "darling I'd do it all for you lot"?

Answer: The data you've given me is sparse and isn't a directly striking with what I've come up with. It would have been helpful to know the genre (pop, stone, country, etc.), what decade the song was popular and whatever other hints.

However, here's the best I could figure:

Denroy Morgan had a soul song that was a hit in 1981. It referenced the lyrics, "You brand my dreams come truthful" (which is why I figured you have this question under the Dreams Playlist). The title of the vocal is, "I'll Practise Anything for You" and here are the lyrics that are shut but not quite what you lot recall:

"Nothing in the world that I won't do

I'll give the world to yous if you desire me to

I'll exercise anything

Ah, nothing in the world that I won't exercise

I'll requite the earth to you lot if you want me to

I'll do anything...."

Is this it? I'one thousand betting (and hoping) so! Hither's the song:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnC5zgdr06c.

Question: I'grand looking for a song with the title, "We Take a Dream for You." Tin can you help?

Respond: The closest thing seems to be the Casting Crowns' 2014 song, "Dream for You" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8nsJZx8eWw

Question: I'm looking for a classic rock song with an astonishing guitar hook throughout, and I'yard sure I heard the lyrics, "I've got dreams to call up" in there. It seems that the word "dreams" was used several times in the song. My search keeps bringing up Otis Redding, but it'southward certainly not him. Practice yous have whatever thoughts?

Answer: There are many artists who accept covered that vocal. In an advanced search that I did, approximately 25 artists came up, including artists as varied as Aretha Franklin, Keith Richards, Toots Hibberts, and Delbert McClinton. Thus, is it possible that you are remembering someone else who sang the song, such as prominent guitarist Warren Haynes, known for his work with the Allman Brothers, David Allan Coe, and his association with the Grateful Dead? Here is a YouTube link to the impressive rendition of the song by Warren Haynes: https://www.youtube.com/lookout?v=YgX1k8bbXsk.

Question: What is the vocal that ends with "I wake from dreams and find that I'm alone"?

Answer: I remember the song you want is beneath, although note that I could not discover whatever song that fits your exact description. I searched several lyrics databases, and this is the closest. It ends with lyrics that closely resemble what y'all offer -- "notice that I'm alone" -- and the theme of the vocal is dreaming.

"Nightmare" (2007) past Vanilla Sky https://world wide web.youtube.com/watch?v=h1ei9nEg3Ws

Ending lyrics:

I can remember

What happened earlier

Should I wake up and call you out loud on and on

And information technology makes me feel bad

When I observe that you're non here

And information technology makes me so scared.

When I find that I'm alone.

Promise this helps!

Question: In that location'due south a song which includes the line, "All in a dream" Who sings it, please?

Answer: Although I wish you had given more than information such as genre, the type of singer (group/individual, male/female person), or approximate year released, I tin can offer some possibilities. There are a number of songs that include that line. Here are three:

1) "After the Gold Rush" by Neil Young (1970) (later covered by many other artists)

2) "In a Dream" by Rockwell (1997)

3) "Take hold of Me While I'k Sleeping" by Pink (2003)

Question: Which song has the lyrics, "bye dreams"?

Answer: The vocal you lot are looking for is by The Kinks, called "Salvation Route" (1973). YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hO0CIqSknQ. Hither are the lyrics from that office of the song:

And we'll all sing a song

Every bit we walk downwardly Salvation Route.

Goodbye youth, goodbye dreams,

The good times and the friends I used to know.

Question: Can anyone remember either the vocal or the band from the 1980s that had a lyrics "caught in your dream sleep"?

Answer: The quoted lyrics may not be fully authentic. Nevertheless, I did detect two 1980s songs by bands with like lyrics:

"Head Over Heels" (1982) by ABBA: "And nosotros were caught in our slumber"

"Deep Slumber" (1982) past Devo: "I've been caught inside a deep sleep"

Question: What vocal has the lyrics "when information technology comes to making dreams"?

Reply: The following song is the only one I plant: "All Mixed Upwards" (1996) past Red House Painters https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQSUIRDs6VE. Promise this is what you were looking for.

Question: What are the lyrics to "Nighttime Dreams" past Johnny Mathis?

Answer: This 1968 song was a non-album track, the "B" side to "You Make Me Retrieve About Yous" and its lyrics are very hard to come past. They were not available in several search engines I checked. However, you lot could probably transcribe them from the song itself. Here it is on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/lookout?five=To046YtkIpQ.

Question: What song has the lyrics, "dream, dream, dream"?

Answer: There are two songs:

1) Johnny Mathis' "Dream Dream Dream" (1964) https://world wide web.youtube.com/picket?v=oXQma1D3NAk

lyrics:

Just close your eyes, forget your sighs a piffling while

dream dream dream.

Each little tear will disappear into a smile

dream dream dream.

Though your lucky day seems far away

and your plans go wrong

Build you castles loftier and by and by

dream dream dream.

Though your lucky day seems far away

and your plans go wrong

Build you castles high and by and past

love volition come forth

It's wonderful, how wonderful the globe will see

dream dream dream.

2) "All I Have to Do Is Dream" by The Everly Brothers (1958) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbU3zdAgiX8

lyrics:

Dream, dream, dream, dream

Dream, dream, dream, dream

When I want you in my artillery

When I want you and all your charms

Question: I've had this song in my head all mean solar day. It's a classic 80s stone sound, simply sort of a distressing or emotional tune. All I can really remember is the chorus starting something like "and I can't dream of yesterday" or " from yesterday." Information technology sort of sounds like REO Speedwagon. Any idea?

Answer: Taking a wait at the lyrics you offer, a search reveals the following: "Easier Than This" by Ra (2008) or "I Miss Us" by Kenny Loggins (2003). I'm not sure about the REO Speedwagon sound. Loggins' song seems to match that a lilliputian more.
